Jemma is absolutely the best when it comes to deep tissue massage. I went threw several doctors and did physical therapy. I went to acupuncture and chiropractor care no one could figure out why I was in so much pain with my back. In 1 session with jemma my back pain is cut in half. I have booked more appointments with her because you can’t fix a year of pain in one session but she came close. I bowl tournaments across the country and have not been able to because of the pain. I had been bed ridden for several days leading up to my massage with Jemma. I have both a chronic back injury/severe pain in my L5S1 region plus I have fibromyalgia. Jemma listened to me before attempting to suggest treatment. Shared her experience with both ailments to assure me she really did understand. I have had many massages where the therapist “said” they knew fibromyalgia but left me in agony for several days afterwards because they really did not understand how negatively a bad massage can affect my life. Jemma talked me through her plan before starting, checked in with me frequently to make sure she wasn’t hurting me and that the pressure was ok. Not gonna lie there were a few moments that were really painful but we both agreed, I WAS A TOTAL MESS. So many knots and areas of really bad inflammation!!! Within an hour after the massage I was already moving better. Day two I was quite sore but I was able to move and be active. Day three I felt great. Worked, ran errands and did a big baking project with my daughter after my day was done. And the best part? I didn’t end up in a huge fibro flare which is my biggest fear with massages. Jemma absolutely knows her craft, has the ability to do very deep tissue massage but knows exactly how to modify to your specific needs and truly cares about you as a client. Highly recommend and will definitely be a repeat client.

Jemma is amazing. My backstory_After a year of full time remote work I have noticed big changes in my health over all and not for the good. Previously I would be walking to meeting’s through out the hospital. This last year not only has the work day gotten longer but I hardly move. I sit in front of my computer screen for 12hrs a day 6 days a week. I went from 12k steps a day to 1200. As a result I have become so knotted up and tight I hurt all the time. Even more troubling I began to notice my range of motion was diminishing. I could not raise my hands above my head or behind my back. Simple tasks like putting on a bra became impossible. I luckily found Jemma. She replied quickly to my last minute request and was right on time for our appointment the next day. She talked through things she noticed as she went through my session. Which was great for me to understand what I was feeling and why. Prior to 2020 I was a regular massage goer and always enjoyed deep tissue style. I can say without a doubt Jemma has the strongest hands I have ever experienced. It was a 90 min session not for relaxation purposes but I need therapy. She was very kind and showed concern. Always checking back with me if I was doing ok throughout. She was knowledgeable and used different methods to work through each area. It was not my standard previous massage experience. I think we were both sweating by the end. Jemma hung in there with me. By the end of my 90 min I was already noticing improvement. The next day I woke up sore (in good way) with marked improvement. I was so excited I immediately scheduled again with Jemma. Once a week for the next 3 weeks. I am so excited to see how much better I will be by the end of our 4 weeks. Hopefully we can transition to less frequent relaxing maintenance sessions. Thank you Jemma
